Dyslexia, a specific learning disability that affects reading and related language based processing skills and Dysgraphia, a specific learning disability that affects a student’s handwriting ability and fine motor skills, can pose significant challenges for a student regarding the day to day demands of learning.

This webinar will:

– Provide an overview of dyslexia and dysgraphia

– Identify the signs and symptoms

– Provide teaching strategies to support students to engage in learning

Our program facilitator Gail Preston has over 30 years’ experience in special education as a classroom teacher, specialist teacher, principal, academic and educational consultant. Gail has spoken at local, national and international conferences on various topics within the special education and inclusive practice fields.
