Managing Behaviours of Challenge in the OSHC program

DESCRIPTION

Behaviours of challenge can be demonstrated by all children. Within the OSHC (Out of School Hours Care) program there can be several behaviours of challenge that we need to be aware of due to the presenting conditions of many children.

This webinar will:

– Discuss the conditions that can present behaviour challenges

– Review the OSHC environmental triggers

– Offer strategies to support children to self-manage within the OSHC program

This webinar has been developed for OSHC educators to assist you in understanding the behaviours of challenge experienced by the children attending your programs.

All registrations are per person and one certificate is issued per registration.

Our program facilitator Gail Preston has over 30 years’ experience in special education as a classroom teacher, specialist teacher, principal, academic and educational consultant. Gail has spoken at local, national and international conferences on various topics within the special education and inclusive practice fields.
