Children’s language development will be individual but as educators we need to understand the developmental milestones and be proactive in discussing any concerns with parents to ensure success for each child.

This webinar will:

– Provide a general overview of young children’s language development

– Discuss how to communicate your observations to parents regarding possible language delays

– Discuss practical activities to encourage language development and learning

This webinar has been developed for early childhood and early years educators to support your knowledge of language development.

Our program facilitator Gail Preston has over 30 years’ experience in special education as a classroom teacher, specialist teacher, principal, academic and educational consultant. Gail has spoken at local, national and international conferences on various topics within the special education and inclusive practice fields.
