Behaviour Triggers and ADHD

DESCRIPTION

Depending on a child’s presentation of ADHD it can be challenging to identify and learn how to manage the behaviours that will be specific however, as we as begin to understand the triggers, we can support our students.

This webinar will:

– Discuss the challenges of diagnosis

– Identify possible triggers for behaviour

– Offer strategies to create a supportive environment

This webinar has been designed for educators to successfully support students with ADHD through the identification of triggers and provision of strategies to support potential behaviour challenges.

PRESENTER

Our program facilitator Gail Preston has over 30 years’ experience in special education as a classroom teacher, specialist teacher, principal, academic and educational consultant. Gail has spoken at local, national and international conferences on various topics within the special education and inclusive practice fields.
