Students with ADHD can experience times of complex behaviours that impact on a classroom. By understanding the challenges faced by our students we can adjust the teaching and learning environment to aid access to an inclusive curriculum.

This workshop will:

– Provide an overview to ADHD

– Look at the signs and symptoms

– Identify areas of difficulty

– Provide teaching strategies for the primary and secondary classrooms

Our program facilitator Gail Preston has over 30 years’ experience in special education as a classroom teacher, specialist teacher, principal, academic and educational consultant. Gail has spoken at local, national and international conferences on various topics within the special education and inclusive practice fields.
