DESCRIPTION

Children present with diversity in our programs. ADHD and ASD require us to understand the unique presentation of the children attending the OSHC (Out of School Hours Care) program and how we can support all children.

This webinar will:

– Provide an overview of ADHD and ASD

– Discuss the behaviours of challenge across the OSHC age groups

– Offer strategies to support children in the inclusive OSHC program

This webinar has been developed for OSHC educators to support your understanding of the needs of children with ADHD and ASD attending your programs.

All registrations are per person and one certificate is issued per registration.

PRESENTER

Our program facilitator Gail Preston has over 30 years’ experience in special education as a classroom teacher, specialist teacher, principal, academic and educational consultant. Gail has spoken at local, national and international conferences on various topics within the special education and inclusive practice fields.
